Firstly…if you’ve not watched it yet and don’t want to know whats happened, read no further 
I actually watched it ages ago, just haven’t got around to writing about it yet.
As soon as The Hills finale was up online, I just had to watch it. I went straight home from work and put it on, hoping for the most amazing finale ever.
Not what I got.
Now the ending was controversial to say the least. It’s caused a lot of confusion for viewers, but without it the final episode was boring! Nothing happened. All story lines were drawn to an end, which is understandable I know, but there was like no emotion? Other than Kristin leaving, which still didn’t bring any tears to my eyes. There wasn’t even much of a re-run over the past to reminisce on all those good times over the last however many years.
As for pretending that it was all a lie, that’s done nothing but cause confusion. I’ve not yet spoken to anyone who found it even remotely funny, everyone hated it. The only reason I even knew it was a joke was because of Lo’s blog. I get what they were trying to do, it was to mock those who questioned whether any of it was real. But it just wasn’t that good.
I am going to be sad to see The Hills go, but with rumours of Brody wanting to do a show with his current girlfriend, Avril Lavigne, Heidi teaming up with Jen Bunney (does anyone even care about her anymore?) for their Miami show, and Audrina supposedly having her own show, it doesn’t seem like it’s ever going to competely end.
Plus, there’s always Whitney Port and the next season of The City, which had a far more entertaining season finale!
